As you may already know, FocusPoint Linux is built upon Linux Mint which means we align our development timeline with theirs. Currently, Linux Mint 22 (based on Ubuntu 24.04) is in beta, but the development team over at Linux Mint is diligently addressing bugs and issues (leftovers from Ubuntu 24.04) before releasing a stable version. Once they’ve ironed out these kinks, we’ll begin our work on the next FocusPoint release.

At FocusPoint, we have several packages to develop and some coding tasks ahead on our FocusPoint Settings App. Before any release of the mentioned app we’ll thoroughly test our deep-level operating system tweaking app and we will also address any necessary fixes in our already existing FocusPoint Linux Welcome App.

Unfortunately, I must admit that I’m currently the sole developer on this project. However, I remain hopeful that this situation will change soon.

Thank you for your patience, and stay tuned for updates on the upcoming FocusPoint release!
