FocusPoint Linux 1.0.1-1 RC is now finally released!

Update: Somehow mintwelcome (Linux Mint’s welcome app) made it into this release which basically means there is two welcome apps greeting you. to remedy that either open synaptic from the menu and search for mintwelcome and uninstall it, or open a terminal and type <sudo apt remove mintwelcome> (without < >)
I will upload a new image tomorrow without mintwelcome

After being in development for a good while and after ironing out most of the bugs like the pesky bug login manager not accepting input after being in hybernate state we are now in a state where we are able to release a release candidate. If there is no major problems this release is the one that will be the final release. Download it by clicking download in the top menu.

We have now included what is a very nice welcome app coded by Terje, the app will let you change settings, read release notes, launch various settings, install additional software both from the official repositories and from flathub. It will also let you switch between dark and light theming, it will change panel theming as well, not only the GTK theme. The app will also tell you everything it’s doing when installing software or changing themes.
