I have now pushed an update to our Welcome App (again)
We have received a few bug reports on matrix that on quite a few cases xfce4-panel still crashes when applying style/themes inside the Welcome app (caused by the (X)ubuntu teams laziness) We have now tried to work around that by delaying the time between stopping the panel and starting it again, this should (hopefully) fix any issues.
We can unfortunately not release the upcoming stable release of FocusPoint Linux Blue Hour until we are 100% sure this problem is fixed on our end.
There are still problems with the new glib version in 24.04 (ubuntu noble) breaking the wrongly shipped xfce4-panel 4.18.4 and some issues may therefor remain, but on our end the workaround should this time work.
We are communicating with the Linux Mint team to maybe packaging our own version of xfce4-panel (and the dependencies) but this is no easy task as that involves changing a myriad of other packages and dependencies as well!
